 Welcome to the LakeMorena.com web site,  Our goal is to inform you about the community. Lake 
 Morena is located just off highway 8 in Campo CA. It is around 3000' above sea level and is 65 miles
 or about one hour east of San Diego just east of the Laguna mountains. 
     
 Lake Morena County Park offers fishing, hiking, picnicking and camping. Largemouth bass and trout
 are just some of the great fishing offered. 
  
 Hikers can access the Pacific Crest Trail which goes through the park. Many campsite are also
 available.  Lake Morena county park is run by The County of San Diego.
 
 Lake Morena is located minutes from the Pacific Railway Museum where you can take a train ride
 though the backcountry.
